Where people now raise a glass to the rhythm of the city, craftsmen once quietly brewed the first beer — with passion, patience, and the aroma of malt drifting over the cobblestones.
This is where it all began, humble yet full of character. First as a small craft brewery, then as a modern factory, Cetinjska grew together with the city. It has always been a place of flavor, a driver of progress, and a reflection of Belgrade’s pulse.
As steam engines and new technology arrived, production expanded, and the noise from the brewery became part of Dorćol’s everyday life.
The beer made here was no longer just a local specialty — it filled taverns, marked holidays, cooled summer nights, and celebrated victories across the country. In the golden era of BIP, a quarter of all beer in Yugoslavia was brewed right here on Cetinjska.
